Search OOOk Default:
Searching the site is real easy.
We use the free Atomz searchengine which indexes our entire site.
The index is updated every wednesday around noon.
The simple search form can be found here and the advanced
here. The simple form should be good for anyone but the most demanding of seekers of knowledge.
Simply type in a term (doesn't have to be exact or spelled right really, though it helps) like seen in this screenshot:

The search results will look like this:

with the number of matches at the top, the search term(s) in bold red in the
results description. A modified date, full URL and filesize give added information.
Just click on the title and off you go.
Of course it is possible to search for a term that isn't in the pages. Like
seen here:

In that case you have three options:
- Search again for something else
- Browse the site categories listed in the navigation bar
- Mail me.
Here's the simple form, happy searching:
Macintosh Users: there's a Sherlock 2
Plug-in available.
Simply download it, unstuff and drop the expanded plug-in (it
has a barcodelike icon) onto the systemfolder if you're running
OS 9 and in the Internet Search Sites folder in your Library
Folder if you're running OS X. The finder will place it where
it belongs. |
